Have you struggled to edit your short documentary? TVO Today Short Doc judge Elizabeth St. Philip has some tips on how you can get feedback on your doc and perhaps cut that scene you may love, but might not help move your story forward.
Elizabeth’s tips:
- Listen to feedback from a trusted group of people,
- if you hear consistent feedback about a scene from different people you may consider cutting it,
- and you have to get feedback from people who are fair and honest with you because they too will want the best product.
